Founder + Lead Wedding Planner
Hi there - My name is Chelsy, Founder of TGC!
My career passions first started out with high hopes of one day becoming a marketing CEO of some corporate empire - fast forward a few years, and things certainly did change! I made it to CEO, but my heart for people and design overtook my original plans and I’m so thankful it did. God has shown me that his path is the best path and I’m beyond excited to be walking in it through owning The Gathering Co.
A few essential things about me: bring me an americano or a sparkling glass of prosecco + you'll be my favorite person in the world! I'm someone who's constantly looking for the next thing to accomplish - I don’t even know how to sit through a whole tv show without moving! I always have someone with me - even if we're sitting around reading on a rainy day - being alone is not my forte'! My place of birth is Japan, as a Military brat, but I’ve lived in the area for most my life. Veganism is my diet of choice - even though Sushi calls my name every now and then.
In my free time, I teach Power Pilates, practice Hot Yoga, create for TGC and our beautiful couples, spend time with my precious pup Ella Mae, date my forever groom, + gather my closest peeps for any + every excuse to celebrate - looks like I got into the right business! My passion is for self-creativity, living out your passions, meeting others, creating a space for people to gather + feel celebrated, and living out the pure bliss I have found through TGC!
If you are reading this, I canNOT wait to meet you + be by your side through this entire process - TTYS!
Hi all! My name is Jenn, + I've been living in the beautiful city of Raleigh for about 8 years. I have two big passions in life: politics and art. When I’m not pursuing my political ambitions, I'm exploring new + different artistic expressions. Some of my favorite things include Welsh Terriers, pottery, tea, eucalyptus, Brand New, and all things pretty! I'm so excited to be a part of The Gathering Co. team, + I can’t wait to help create your perfect day!
FUN FACT: I’m a calligraphist and offer calligraphy services, through TGC, to all couples in the area!
Hello! I'm Alex, a small town girl living a big city dream! If you can't find me exploring God's beautiful creation on the road, then you can find me inside with a book. I chase the pursuit of cultivating authenticity + framing moments that are an outward expression of our inner most thoughts! I'm convinced my purpose is to love dogs, namely my pitbull's Rufus + Riley, and to be a continuous student of life. There's simply too much beauty to be bored in a world as raw as this.
FUN FACT: I’m getting married October 2019 and can’t wait to celebrate with all my closest people!
Hi all! My name is Kaitlin, but you can call me Kait. I'm a New Jersey native, but after college I decided to embark on an adventure of my own - so, I picked up + moved with my bestie in August 2017, and so far - I LOVE IT! Currently, I work as an accountant, but find my true passion is in fashion + styling. I always have a coffee within arms length + have recently picked up hot yoga + embroidery! I'm very excited to be working with The Gathering Co. and cannot wait to be a part of your special day.
My name is Lowell Thomas Ferguson III - phew, that’s a mouth full. I’m one of the founders here at The Gathering Co!
A little bit about me: I call Raleigh, NC home, am obsessed with coffee, our pups, bourbon, pipes, + the obvious, being a part of a couple’s I-do moment. If you didn't guess it already, I'm married to the planner of all planners and founder of The Gathering Co., Chelsy Ferguson, and love seeing our passions come together to serve others. With everything I do, I long to encourage others, create paradigm shifting moments, + cultivate community.
Currently, I’m in divinity school studying towards a Master’s in pastoral counseling, while working for Campbell University, coordinating their online CRM department. During my time in Campbell’s Divinity program, I had the opportunity to step into officiating and found that I highly enjoyed crafting a personal ceremony that would join two people in marriage. After I became ordained, it was a no brainer - I had to incorporate this into my everyday for couples as yourselves.
Fun fact: As a part of my passion for cultivating the community around me, I bartend for fun on Tuesdays, at a local bar, called The Mill in Fuquay Varina, NC. I’d love to see y’all there sometime!
